Here's a good start to the month
Bread can't get any more perfect than this!
And for a little snack - foglie mais (leaves of corn) from one of our Italian producers. Very light, delicate cornmeal cookies topped with leftover clove infused white chocolate...a perfect breakfast.

I've been making mine with kalongi (onion seeds) lately. What's in yours?
did I ever tell you how much we enjoyed those cookies on the plane? they were the best thing we ate on the 13 hour trip home...
I do a nothing added bread and a 5-seed. Both of my loaves are now 20% wholewheat and with a dash of cornmeal thrown in for good measure.
And Klary - how about those cookies! Really amazing little things aren't they?
