    Hi there,
    The Cake Bible, by Rose Levy Beranbaum has a recipe for Chestnut Sand Cake, page 42-43 in my hardback copy.

    It's a wonderful cake:)

    I have some other thoughts/tested recipes that I'll come back with in a while.
