Normally lunch is leftovers for me, but today (since I had no leftovers), I made a grilled cheese. Actually, grilled brie with sun-dried tomatoes. Now that's a meal!
At our Lawn Tea next week, we're having torched Brie on baguette slices with homemade fig jam. Perhaps another tray, somewhere on the savories table, won't be overkill with the tomatoes instead of jam.
(My secret word is "prelying"---and no, I'm not. This is really what we're having).

That was a little blast out of the past...I posted that back in the days before I was running my restaurant. I think brie and fig are a perfect combo!
